Success Stories : I quit my job – Daniel Gaiswinkler

  • Hi Daniel! Where are you from?

I am from Germany – from the beautiful Eibelhausen, I have been living there for a year now with my wife and child.

  • What did you do before your Teezily career?

Before my Teezily career I used to be a postman for over 15 years. I also spent about four years building my internet business. A lot of hours and holidays have been put into this, I did nothing apart from reading, learning and putting it into practice. And by the grace of God, all these efforts are paying off.

  • What was the most difficult part of your Teezily journey?

Organizing my work and managing this job with my other job. I worked more than 12 hours a day. I used to wake up at 5.20, to launch the campaigns and the advertisements, and to answer questions from clients. Then in-between tasks at the office I continued with my advertisements and after work I launched new campaigns. With that comes the added task of brainstorming about ideas and concepts.  I also discussed a lot about my work with my colleagues. Without them, I would not be here right now. I am grateful for that every day.

  • Can you tell us something about your first campaign?

I launched my first campaign with the English counterpart of Teezily. Basically, I just transferred my existing designs and sold them via Facebook to particular target audiences. This, however, did not turn out to be too successful. I then spoke with some mentors from the United States and studied more. My first successful campaign was for handball players (my wife played handball for a couple of years and that is where I got the idea from). It was only then that I realized the magnitude of the opportunity that I had before me, and that I could do more with this, and maybe even live off of it.

I think I paid around €200 for advertisement costs and managed to get 78 sales with a profit margin of over €1700. When I showed this proudly to my wife, she couldn’t believe it at first.

When my campaigns started getting more successful, I had to make a choice. To become a full-time Ziler or to keep delivering mail!?

  • Two years later, what do you think of the platform Teezily?

Teezily has developed extremely well and has done a lot for its sellers. I enjoy seeing the progress and I feel like I’m in the right place here.

  • How do you balance work and family?

Now that I have a child, I will definitely look for an office away from home, to be more productive. Even though I love working from home, for the long run it just doesn’t work out. But it was worth a try!

Apart from that, I am following a strict work plan. I set goals for myself and I am persistent with my work.

  • What aspect of your business are you the most proud of?

I love helping other people and I feel very proud when I can help others earn money through the Internet.

  • Do you have any tips for beginners?

DO NOT GIVE UP! NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS! For successful campaigns, you only need to do some market research. Of course this takes time in the first place, but it pays off. Try to analyze your target group on Facebook. How does this platform work and how can I reach the right audience there. Always keep your eyes open for everything, analyze newspapers for new niches, and search on Google and Amazon. After that you need to take time to come up with good ideas and concepts. The internet is full of new ideas and they adapt and develop themselves perfectly for different target groups. Start to implement your own ideas instead of copying others. Only then can the desired success be achieved. My first real successful campaign came after 40-50 failures! That is how long you have to persevere.

  • What’s next?

To expand my Online Business and to help other people achieve financial freedom through the Internet.
