Tips & Tricks

Tip 1: Do not copy other people’s campaigns, create your own inspired by them!

Tip 2: You can also contact us to translate your designs on translation@teezily.com if necessary.

Tip 3: Teezily’s customisation tool accepts the following file formats: .eps, .jpg, .png, .jpeg.

Tip 4: Make sure that whatever you upload to the Teezilab it has a transparent background. If it doesn’t, you can remove the background by using the following tool: http://clippingmagic.com

Tip 5: The price that we offer coincides with the number of colours in your design!  The fewer the colours the higher the payout on your sales.  The average number of colours is 2.

Tip 6: Find a “scalable” design: once you have seen that a particular design has been successful, try to think of other niche markets that could also benefit from the same design.

Tip 7: Make sure that your image has a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. It is even better if it is a vector image.

Tip 8: If you are having problems co-ordinating colours, we suggest that you use the following website to help you match the best colours together for your visuals: https://kuler.adobe.com/creator/color-wheel

Tip 9: Whenever possible, outsource your designs.  If you do them yourself, you may end up being too biased towards your design and if it doesn’t work you may end up prematurely stopping a campaign or not achieving your targets.

Tip 10: You can also create designs with an unlimited number of colours, this will justify a higher sales price even if, in this case, you must pay Teezily more for the production.  We work in both digital and screen printing.
